The purpose of this investigation is to get new insights into how young people in today’s society eat and if their wellbeing is affected by what they eat. A survey was sent out to a number of teenagers in the second and third grades at Lerums Gymnasium. I have used a quantitative study in form of a questionnaire. The survey contained questions about how young people feel about their own eating habits and if they can feel any special symptoms, as a consequence of what they eat. Some results turned out to be very interesting. The questionnaire is showing that 13 percent of the people who answered claimed that they never eat breakfast. Of the people who answered it was also 60 percent that can feel headache on a schoolday, which possibly, can depend on what they are eating. Another result from this study is showing that teenagers at Lerums Gymnasium think that our eating habits have changed in the last thirty or fifty years.
